Food and beverage contract manufacturing

Private-label food and beverage co-packing: brief a producer with shelf life, allergens, and pack format, or pool a short first run.

Who this is for: D2C food and drink brands, private-label retailers, and companies that need a co-packer or contract manufacturer rather than a trading company.

ZestHub is where food and beverage brands worldwide find contract manufacturers and co-packers. The platform does not produce food and does not replace your food-safety or labeling owner. You use it to discover factories, send an RFQ, and compare quotes.

Factories on ZestHub are listed worldwide. Open the live category filter to see who is listed today rather than assuming a fixed roster or a single country. Food and beverage buyers use the same global directory, then filter by location when a region matters.

Write the brief around the product the factory must actually make: format (dry, chilled, frozen, shelf-stable, or ready-to-drink), pack size, allergen profile, shelf life you need, and whether you supply the recipe. Ingredient sourcing and who prints the label belong in the same RFQ so quotes are comparable.

Beverage and food minimums are often set in litres, kilograms, or cases. If a pilot run sits under that minimum, a Community Pool can combine complementary buyer demand. If you already cover the MOQ, post a standard RFQ to one category of factories.

Certifications such as HACCP or organic schemes appear only when a supplier lists them on their profile. ZestHub does not award those certificates. Confirm the current listing on the factory profile before you treat it as in date.

Name the recipe owner, the pack format, and the shelf-life target.

List allergens and any “free from” claims you intend to print.

Give both the first production quantity and the reorder quantity you expect.

Ask which markets the factory already labels for, and keep labeling responsibility explicit.

Questions buyers ask

Does ZestHub manufacture food or drinks?

No. ZestHub is the marketplace. The factory you appoint manufactures or co-packs the product under the commercial terms you agree with them.

How do Community Pools help a beverage brand?

When your first order is below the factory minimum, a Community Pool lets other buyers with a compatible brief add volume so the combined quantity can meet MOQ. You still compare the quote and decide whether to proceed.

What belongs in a food or beverage RFQ?

Product format, recipe status, pack size, allergen and shelf-life requirements, quantity, destination market, and who supplies packaging and label artwork.

Can I filter food manufacturers by location?

Yes. Open the Food & Beverages marketplace filter and narrow by location. ZestHub is global; the directory shows who is listed today, not a single-country roster.
